The Escapology team is made up of many dedicated paddlers but the primary contributors are Scott Rawstorne and Geoff Greenwood.
Scott has been an Australian Canoeing certified Flatwater Kayak Instructor for the past five years. He has taught basic skills at Kayak and Canoe Inc. and run tours for Sydney Harbour Kayaks, Southern Adventures, Ocean Planet, and Eco Escapes. He was the NSW Sales Representative for Perception Kayaks Australia for four years, and has subsequently worked in retail for the Blue Sky Ballina outdoor store.
Scott now researches and writes guides for Escapology and runs Global Paddler. Global Paddler organises and leads small group kayaking adventures to exotic destinations, provides expert advice, and will soon make it possible to buy quality gear online.
Geoff is based in Sydney, though has paddled waterways all around NSW. He has always had an innate desire to explore the world and this has taken him to loads of fantastic places around the globe. His travel experiences, plus a love of creative writing, are just what's needed for researching and preparing Escapology paddle guides.
